| "My work is representative of my daily experience, whether the natural environment which surrounds me or realities I encounter. Change, renewal, finding and following a path… these concepts occupy my thoughts.
I use symbolism in my work to communicate spiritual reality, and I will often select crystals and minerals, which carry specific attributes.
I am attracted to natural patterns. There may be something in the way the limbs of a tree intertwine or the light falls on marsh grass, which triggers an emotional response.
As an image begins to form and reaches my consciousness, I will nurture its development, sometimes for hours or days, sometimes for months. There is a magical point when I know it is time to make it real, and that's when the work begins."
